We have started our baking again after taking January off. We both continued to work our regular jobs and extra hours, we refrained from baking for the month to recoup from the many hours in the kitchen over Christmas season.
Since cinnamon rolls are my (mom) specialty, I chose to go with Cinnamon Roll Saturdays. I am teaching Jessica how to make cinnamon rolls, especially the basic classic recipe. I’m offering the classic recipe plus a specialty roll each Saturday. This week, since the Super Bowl is on Sunday, I’m offering the OG and the OG with red/yellow buttercream. Other options later one so far on our list to do are Smores, Triple Chocolate, Dulce de Leche, and many others.
Aside from baking, I’m working on handmade hot pads, aprons, and other items that make wonderful gifts for your favorite baker. What baker couldn’t use another hot pad when working around the kitchen, or a nice apron to keep their clothes clean while making creative messes? These will be going into our shop soon.
